Council housing?

We got our letter back saying we're in council band 7 priority for homelessness and over-crowding.
Has anyone else had a similar experience and how long did it take for you to get a flat?

I’m on the list for a council house. I’m second priority so fall just under immediately homeless. I’ve been on there now for like 6/8 weeks. No sign of a house yet. You should have an actual housing officer. Any questions you’ve got your better off going to them

I know someone who was in band 2 for those two things and she waited 15 months. It depends so you should ask them really hopefully someone will be able to give you advice.
