Possible 18 month sleep regression?

My daughter is coming up on 18 months and for the last week, she has been refusing naps! She is sleeping a solid 12 hours per night so I guess she is making up for the nap, but she is so cranky in the afternoon without a nap! How do I get her napping again? 😫

If your baby has been taking two naps then this is usually when they drop one. My lo has only had one nap since she turned 12 months and she naps for 2 hours around 12-12:30pm and wakes up around 6:30am. I would just try to adjust their schedule... maybe a later nap? I find if I put her down too early she will only nap 1 hour and wake up super cranky.

My son went through this too after that last leap. I figured it was separation anxiety because he would fall asleep while I was rocking him and then once he got put into bed woke up crying. One day i had to have him sleep with him on my chest on the couch because he didn’t want to be apart. Now he’s gone back to normal. I usually put him down for his nap 5-6 hours after he wakes up

When this happens to us I try my best to keep the same nap routine and eventually it goes back to normal. Have you tried putting her down for nap later? Maybe there’s just a time adjustment needed? Or it could just be the regression and it’ll go back to normal soon. I hope it gets better soon...no nap days are so exhausting and frustrating!!
