Is Zantac okay to take?

My heartburn is becoming unbearable at 30 weeks I have it all day long and tums are not cutting it anymore! I have extra strength Zantac 150 mg .. is that okay to take? Does anyone else take it?

Yes! I take 2 of the 150s a day, 12 hours apart and supplement with tums if I have any heartburn in between.

My doctor said it's fine, I only take one at night because if not I get unbearable acid reflux when I'm trying to sleep. I take a Tums during the day if I get a bad case of heartburn.

My dr gave me a list. He said nexium is the best one to use. Take 1 an hour before lunch.
