2 month shots

Yesterday my son got his 2 month shots and he was a little fussy so we gave him some Tylenol and he was better slept the fussiness away. However, today he feels a little warm to the touch. I checked his temp rectally and it was 98.8 but he still feels warm to the touch and very restless, but not crying or fussy. I have him in a simple sleeveless onsie and no blanket but again he feels warm to the touch with no fever. The doc said to treat the baby not the number. Should I give him a dose of Tylenol and see if it helps or what else can I do?
