So I’m naming my daughter Olivia. I was just wondering how many do you know? Is it to popular?

I don't know many because I'm 39 and the name didn't become popular until recent years. But yes it's one of the most popular names right now. But if you love it, go for it.  I named my daughter Maya and 2 of my friends also have daughters named Maya, I don't care.

Teacher here. Sooo many Olivia’s. But not as many as the Emily’s...that being said its popular for a reason, she’ll never feel alienated because no one can pronounce her name (Kyla seems to easy to me and yet 🤦🏻‍♀️)

It’s super popular. One of the top ten girls’ names. My daughter has two in her first grade class and there’s only 19 kids in her classroom.

I know one.  That being said, my oldest is only in preschool.  Next year in kindergarten I might say differently.  I'm in a local mom's group too and only one of the little girls is Olivia.  I MIGHT be less common than 5-10yrs ago? It is a classic name though.  You could call her Liv or Livi.  :-)

We have an Olivia Grace. The popularity of a name has no effect on me. I liked the name, so I used it 🤷‍♀️ Shes almost 3.5yo and I have only met 1 other Olivia. Granted, we live in a small rural town and not a bustling big city but please, use the name if you like it!

It’s a very very popular name. If you want a little more uniqueness, I think Olive is adorable and adds the little spunk from the common Olivia ! :)
