Best age for the zoo?

Why/What’s your favorite time of year to go?

All of the above? The zoo is great  for all ages. Late spring/ early summer is best for seeing animals. They don't come out when its cold or rainy. Before school lets out so you don't have a crowd to fight your way through

It’s really great for all ages. I took my son at like 10 months and he loved it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Get a season pass and you can go at any time.

We took our son when he was 9 months old. (The weather finally broke for good. ) He loved it! We went to the local zoo for our son's first birthday too.

I took my 11 month old to the zoo yesterday and she was losing her mind! She absolutely loves animals, and was giggling and squealing the whole time 😊

My husband and son go every week and have been since my son was about 9 months old.  My son was 4 months old the first time we took him.  Now if it’s very cold out they don’t go. But my son loves the zoo. And my husband is just a kid at heart.

We went to one at 8.5 months (May in Tennessee) when we were on a trip to see family. I LOVE reputable zoos, and go to one any chance I could get. 
Our son loved it, though I dont think he understood fully. 
We went to a small aquarium for his first birthday, and he enjoyed it as well. He loves all animals. 😂 
Hes 18m now and we are planning to go to a zoo soon, just have to map it out around our schedules as we are in the hotel industry. The “perfect” time of year to go depends on where you live though.
