Can you get pregnant immediately after removing an IUD

I was just curious. I removed my IUD 2 months ago, and 7 days later o started a normal period and my gynecologist said I can start trying to conceive because the IUD doesnt mess up your ovulation it just thins your uterine lining. But I've been reading that it took some women months to ovulate normally after removal. And an argument that removal causes pregnancy symptoms. But a mother of 2 commented that she got pregnant right after removal the first month. I know everyone's bodies are different. Does anyone have any personal experience with what happens after IUD removal as far as their ovulation, cycle and fertility?
