When it was time to have the “girl talk” what was it like for you? Who talked to you about it?

I never actually got the talk now that I’m looking back on it, lol. 
Like nobody ever sat me down & explained to me how sex worked. Nobody, other than health class in HS, talked to me about using protection or anything either lol. 
Not to say my parents were bad parents because they weren’t and aren’t by any means but I guess they assumed school would teach it? I was never interested in sex anyway until I got older. Lol

Never got it my mom just assumed i knew, which i personally think was a crazy assumption

My mom. she just started talking about what a condom is and how should one use it and how it protects you from STDs and pregnancy and I was like DUH mama everybody knows these things please just stop🤦‍♀️😂and she was like Oh God thanks. thank you for saving my time!!

My mom. It was uninteresting but not embarrassing. I just listened and left it at that.

I got the period talk from my mom, it was fine. She just explained the basics and to not be scared. She shared her fir5perid experience with me. 
O got the sex talk from my dad twice...Once in a Dairy Queen...Not much was said...The second time was in a library with pictures. Neither experience traumatized me.
