How often do you talk?
I'm in a long-distance relationship, been long-distance for a little over a month now. I met him overseas a little over five months ago- we dated for about a month and then I moved in with him for three months (took a real risk there, I know! But it went great!) so it does sorta feel like we've been dating longer by a bit. Anyway, he's one of those people who prefer texting, and I am definitely not, I could have phone conversations for hours actually. We talked before I left and I compromised for two phone calls a week, but I feel like I've sold myself short there. He texts me every day, sometimes we have text convos, but sometimes he gets busy and he only texts a few times a day. He does call me twice a week, but on irregular days according to his health and workload, usually for an hour. Would anyone else feel frustrated with this arrangement? I have little to no complaints otherwise and he was pretty great while we were living together. I think that he feels that we have enough connection, but we still have months to go before I get back there and as much as I love him I'm not sure this is working for me. Is it unreasonable to expect more consistent contact from him? Advice/Tips, please!
