Does hair removal cream give the same results as shaving?

Okay so basically I have really THICK, black hair ‘down there’ and I’ve tried waxing it was a nightmareee honestly it was so thick that I struggled to even get those tings out. I’m too young to go to a professional or get laser hair removal.

I just trim atm but girlll I’m dyingg rn I reallyy need to get rid of that shit 😖😖

I’m nervous to shave tho coz everybody sayin that it makes ur hair grow back thicker and man if it ain’t thick now then lord knows what it gonna be like if I shave, hair removal cream seems like my last option but idek how I convince my mom to buy it without tellin her why I need it please help me 😫😫
