Can I give my 3 month old a little bit of apple juice?
Update: for those asking why and seem mad about my question. My baby always has a hard time to poop. She cries for help and I always have to help her poop. And I feel like her poop is not normal, but pediatrician says it is 😞

I'm sorry for the Mom's that jumped down your throat at the question. Her stools do NOT look normal to me for a 3mo. They seem large and probably hard for her to pass. Is she formula or breastfed? If she is formula fed I would see about using a different formula. If she is breastfed maybe try pumping and giving a couple bottles to make sure she is getting enough hindmilk. Also check for things in your diet, try cutting out dairy for a little while.

You can. My daughter was breast and formula fed and she would get constipated when i didnt produce enough milk. The ped. Told me 1 ounce warm apple juice (i used 100 percent organic no sugar added) with 1 ounce water.

No.  When they start solids (4mo at the very youngest) you can give them a tiny bit of water but they really only need breastmilk/formula.

Absolutely not. Juice is plain sugar. It has no benefits and really shouldn't be given to babies OR toddlers. Exceptions being a child over breastfeeding/formula age who is really sink and doesn't feel like drinking water. Or a very tiny amount in a baby over six months for constipation. Giving anything but breastmilk/formula to a baby under 6 months can cause permanent digestion issues. Unless you're directly told to by a pediatrician then don't do it.

Why on earth would you think this is okay? 🤦🏻‍♀️ my daughter will be 2 years old in May and has never once had juice. It's all sugar. That's literally the last thing your 3-month-old needs.
