Hi everyone! I am 6mo PP and I EBF. I got my period back around 8 weeks PP when my daughter had been sleeping through the night. I had 3 regular cycles, usually shorter than 28 days. The would have been 4th cycle never came. I took probably 10 HPTs which were all negative, so I chalked it up to breastfeeding related irregularities since my daughter had recently started nursing at night again. I completely skipped that cycle and on Saturday (3/30-one day early if being exactly a month late) I started bleeding again. The cramps have been really bad and the bleeding pretty heavy. Typically unusual for me but not too unusual since my daughter has been born. What is unusual is that today, Monday 4/1 day 3 of my cycle, the blood that leaked through my tampon is BRIGHT BRIGHT red. My blood is always a dark burgundy red, it is never this shade of red so I’m kind of concerned.
