I have had sharp pains the last 3 nights. Im on my period and i have NEVER felt pain like this. It only comes right before bed. It is very painful and sharp. Like a dagger slicing from one end of my uterus to the next. It lasts for like 5 seconds but it feels like longer. Last two nights it has come like 3 times before bed. Always painful.

We are trying for a baby and i got my period so it obviously didn't work. But i just keep thinking, what if it worked and i got pregnant and thats why im getting pains. (probably just me being unrealistic and hopeful)

What is the cause of this?
