I thought I was going to have to have a repeat C. I had my first baby by scheduled c section at 38+3 to avoid me going into labour because I have a rare brain condition. We were worried the pressure of pushing and stuff could hurt my brain. 
Well I still have this brain condition and now I’ve already had a c section... there’s not a lot of research on my condition BUT I really believe I could be perfect having a vagina birth. Took me forever to get support from neurologists and Midwives to hear me out! And I got approval from two neurologists and my midwife and a specialized OB all giving me the go ahead to try to give birth vaginally. 
With my condition I absolutely cannot have epidurals though. 
Now, I’m planning a homebirth! I know that’s not what was asked, but I do have some conditions that was gonna mean early c section again, but I fought it to get a chance at natural delivery. I’m so excited! 
That said, I’ll be like SO fighting upstream if I go overdue. Like idk how I’m gonna handle that. They don’t even let most VBAC cases go overdue so idk what they’ll do with me. I was told they won’t let me go further than 40+3 sooo we shall see....

I am high risk for 5 things: 1. Age - 49. 2. Fibroids. 3. Scarring from fibroids removed. 4. Previous miscarriages and vanished twin. 5. Placenta previa. I'm otherwise healthy and in good shape. My doctor doesn't want me going into labor at all so I'll have my c-section at 38wks.
This was our last chance to have a baby and we are thrilled!
