Well I need help, pls

I’m 18 and have known this guy for going on a year now, he’s super sweet, and we are totally attracted to each other and I trust him immensely because anytime we do anything, he always asks “Is this okay?” “Are you okay?” And let’s me give consent.

I grew up super conservative and near Pentecostal and as a result am really terrified of showing my body and so my looming willingness to lose my v card to him is making me anxious, only because I’m well, ashamed of my body.

I have self harm scars from when I was younger and my areas tend to be darker too, just kind of, not sure what to do and I’d like to be as prepared as I can possibly be. Any advice? Words of keen wisdom that I can gather from you lovely ladies?
