So from the moment we found out this baby was a boy we knew we wanted to name him Alexander John, Alexander because we love it, and John after my deceased father in law, well 3 months ago my sister had a baby boy and named him Aaron jr after her hubby, and they call him AJ, now I’ve made it very clear I want the baby to be called Alex, well over the weekend we went to a family event on my husbands side, and my mother in law went around telling all of his extended family that the baby’s name is Alexander John and we’re going to be calling him AJ 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ now I feel like it’s going to stick and that side will be calling him AJ for life, when that’s my nephews name and I want my son to feel he has his own identity so now I’m at a complete loss, so I change my baby’s name? I corrected everyone at the party but they still continued to rub my belly and call him “little AJ” I’m just so annoyed. Does anyone have any suggestions?!
