It’s been a week after my c section delivery
Does back feel bent after c section delivery ?

I was encouraged to stand up within hours of surgery and was told to ensure I stood up straight. It felt awful as you naturally want to hunch rather than engaging the sore muscles so yes you do have to make a conscious effort to straighten up.

It’s probably because of the muscles they cut through. I had one 5 years ago (almost 6 years) and I’ll be having another one later this year, and it makes my rib muscles tighten up and makes my back bend to the side from time to time until everything loosens up. I had to get physical therapy to straighten myself back out and to help with the scar tissue build-up as well. It takes a while to heal all the way, but it’ll be better once you’re healed up. You could also mention it to your doctor and see what they say.

I’m 3wks PP from an emergency c-section and I’m so uncomfortable all the time. My abdomen aches all the time and I have a hard time standing/sitting up straight. It’s been very difficult finding a comfortable sleeping position that doesn’t make me feel like I have to hold myself up and support my full body weight as I lay there. My back at this point is so tight. I can’t wait to be fully recovered.
