Should I call my obgyn???

Question

It’s been 2 weeks that I’ve had the worst nasal congestion/ runny nose/ lots of mucus/ big headaches even a fever at times. Should I let my obgyn know, my next appointment isn’t till April 18th. I hope it’s not affecting baby.

If you have a fever, probably. But nasal congestion and extra mucus are normal! That’s my biggest symptom. I put vapo rub under my nose when I go to bed and that way I can breathe 😂

I was sick twice this pregnancy and the last one lasted a good 2.5 to 3 weeks. Unfortunately, sicknesses usually hit harder and last longer during pregnancy. Before pregnancy, I was rarely sick and colds usually lasted just a few days. This last one was the worst I’ve ever experienced... I literally burst into tears one night because I felt miserable and couldn’t breathe. My husband felt so bad he went out and bought a humidifier for me. I just took some over the counter meds that my doctor approved when I needed them and sat in a room with the humidifier all day. 
You only need to see or call a doctor if you have a fever of over 101 or have yellow or green mucus.

It may be a sinus infections. Definitely worth a call :)

Nope that’s pretty normal. Try taking an allergy medication, that may help.

A cold won’t hurt baby as long as you don’t have a fever. My cold turned into a sinus infection, so I went to the walk in clinic and was able to get antibiotics.
