Hey y’all, so this morning I got my 36 week culture and cervical check. I was so nervous because I heard how uncomfortable this could be.

The culture is nothing more than a half second swab inside the vaginal canal and then the opening of rectum. Felt like nothing more than wiping after a bowel movement, and barely even that. The cervical check is what I was most nervous about...

My doctor took two fingers and just checked to see how soft my cervix was, not much pressure at all. It’s a 15-20 second experience that really wasn’t uncomfortable, just a little awkward. On a scale of 1-10 easily a 2 at the most. Don’t be scared ladies! Anybody else want to share their experiences, feel free and please post below!
