Everyone is discouraging my birth plan..

So I’m 19 and this is my first baby (I’ll be 20 when I give birth) and I really would LOVE to have an all natural birth.. I do not want an epidural.. obviously healthy baby and mommy is the most important thing, but that’s the goal.. obviously it doesn’t always work out that way but its what I have in mind. I told my friend (she has 2 kids) that I plan on doing it all natural and she started laughing and said yeah okay you say that now.. it REALLY annoyed me.. I understand that I don’t know what exactly to expect but I really think that I have the mindset to do it.. has anyone else that plans/planned to have a natural birth with their first pregnancy have people make comments like that? I truly believe that it’s possible if you set your mind to it and your birth goes the way you hope..

-ps my mom ALSO made a comment that I’ll change my mind after that I won’t be able to handle the pain
