Transitioning to toddler bed

My daughter will be 2 this month. She has yet to even attempt to climb out of her crib. We are moving in June. Her crib transitions into a toddler bed. Do I leave her until she starts to climb out? Do I transition her crib to the toddler bed now and then use the crib/bed in our new place? Or do I transition her crib to a toddler bed now and then get her a real bed in our new place? She’s a great sleeper and generally takes all transitions well.

Also, we are in a two floor house now and will be in a one floor apartment in June.
