Should I donate my breast milk??

I lost my baby girl this last Saturday and it's been very hard. I would be 24 weeks. 😢😢 My daughter is two years old. I'm producing milk now and I thought about donating it, but it is very hard after losing my baby girl. My friend said I could give it to my two year old like mix it in her milk or something. Idk.. So was wondering what you ladies would do. Donate or give to my two year old?  She wasn't breast fed so would it still benefit her at this age? This is my sweet Bailey Rae❤️👼

It would be amazing to be able to fell others through your own pain by donating but it might be really hard for you to do. Can’t imagine what you must be feeling. So I would say whatever feels right to you. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Donate!! I gave birth to my twins at 24 weeks, one passed the next day and the other lived for 8 weeks. I had so much milk that the thought of throwing it all out hurt me so much. I donated everything I had and I love the idea of being able to help other babies since I couldn’t give it to mine. I kept 2 bottles for myself, one for each of my boys. The milk bank I worked with was so amazing! The NICU was able to help facilitate everything for me.

I’m very sorry for your loss. I would personally donate it. There are a ton of babies in the NICU that could benefit, whereas your 2 yr old can obtain her needed nutrients through regular food.

From my understanding toddlers can benefit from breast milk as well as infants.. you could do either or both. It would be great to donate, I believe they use breast milk in the NICU? I could be wrong? 
I breastfed all three of my kids, for over a year each. my kids are 18,12,8. and they were hardly ever sick, maybe once a year. Never had any ear infections, except my youngest who has bad seasonal allergies. Breast feeding is said to help align the ears for drainage. Helps build their immune systems as well.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my son at 24 weeks and I donated my milk for about 2 months after. It helped me with my grief because I knew something good was coming from something so terrible.
