So last year my younger cousin passed away, she was like a little sister to me. She had always wanted to name her first born daughter Chevy Rae. I’m currently pregnant with my second little girl and my auntie suggested using the name that my cousin had picked out. I love the sentiment of the name but I’m not sure if I’m sold..

I think the sentiment is nice. But I’m not sure I’d name a girl Chevy. Maybe keep it as her middle name or keep Rae as her middle name.

I personally am not a fan of the name although I think using it on behalf of your cousin is a nice sentiment. At the end of the day it’s your baby though so you have to love the name. Maybe you could use Chevy or Rae as a middle name if you have another name you want to use as the first.
