Ear infection

Just went to the doctor today and found out I have an ear infection in my right ear and some fluid behind my ear drum. I’ve had a ringing sound in my right ear since Sunday morning. The doctor wasn’t very helpful when I was asking her questions, she was kinda rude throughout the whole check up honestly. She did prescribe me an antibiotic.

But my question is has anybody ever had ringing in their ear when they’ve had an ear infection? If so did it go away?

I’ve been reading awful things online about the noise being permanent and I’m absolutely terrified to the point where I’ve been crying on and off because I just want this to go away so bad and now I’m scared it won’t.
