Formula/constipation? I've started feeding my 2 month old strictly formula, This is the 2nd incident Both he has had a really tough time pushing to poop, turning red a little. Concerned If color is normal? Also could he be constipated ?

Color is normal — the iron in the formula can make it green. It would be hard balls if your baby was constipated. Formula is harder to digest, try a gentle version if you’re not already

If he was constipated it would be little balls, or mostly hard. The consistency of that poop looks normal to me. They’re also still learning to poop, so the turning read is okay too. My 10 month old still grunts and sometimes turns red when pooping. He’s also probably still adjusting to being fully formula fed.
