YAY!!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Sierra

Yโ€™all I am SOOO excited! Today I had a visit with my midwife and she said several AMAZING things to me. First off, I am going to attempt a VBAC and I was told in the past that my pelvis is small. Well, I started going to the chiropractor to open things up and get properly aligned and today my midwife told me my pelvis feels normal, I am 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced so she checked Babyโ€™s position and her head is literally sitting right on top of my cervix!! HUGE news for me as the position and size of my pelvis with my first baby did not allow him to position correctly and my labor with him was ended with an emergency c-section. So I am bubbling over with so much happiness, hope, and anticipation right now. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ I just had to share. โค๏ธ

Congratulations Iโ€™m so happy for you. I hope you have successful vbac. Im attempting vbac as well. I didnโ€™t progress last delivery and Iโ€™m trying to do what I can to dilate. Do you have any recommendations? Iโ€™m drinking the red raspberry tea my midwife told me.

Thanks Sierra, I will ask my doctor about the primrose oil. I have to buy the ball since I donโ€™t have it. But Iโ€™m walking 30 minutes daily and seeing chiropractor. Are you getting contractions with the tea?

Thatโ€™s awesome! I hope you are successful as well! The tea is great. I have been drinking it twice daily. Today my midwife suggested taking evening primrose oil orally everyday, which will cause the cervix to soften and thin out. And my doula says to do hip rotations on an exercise ball. So basically you sit on the ball and roll your hips for several reps one way and then switch and roll your hips in the other direction. This will help open the pelvis and encourage labor to begin.

Do you think the adjustments were the main contributing factor? I was thinking about going to a prenatal chiropractor.
