Double period?

I had my period back on march 20, I then started bleeding on April 1st. Is it possible to have 2 periods a week apart? Or should I be worried because it’s April 3rd and I’m still bleeding. The only difference I can say is that I don’t have the same type of cramps I usually get during my period, the pain is more on the lower left abdomen. Also the blood is a much more vibrant red than it usually is. I need to know if this is a cause for concern or if this is normal?! I’m only 22 and never had this happen before
