I am currently 10 weeks pregnant, with my second. Last pregnancy I had developed postpartum cardiomyopathy after my daughter was born, which developed in CHF. I was in intensive care for a week while they took fluid away from my heart. Skip to 5 years later, I was discharged from my cardiologist. Everything was great I felt great got the ok from my doctor to start trying.

So my first prenatal appointment they schedule blood work an ECG etc. The results come back that my heart is only functioning at 25%. They rushed me to specialist yesterday. And after consulting with a medical team they say that I have a slim chance of surviving this pregnancy to full term. They are suggesting/recommending that I terminate. I’m so conflicted. I have a beautiful 5 y.o that needs me but the thought of losing this beautiful healthy baby inside me crushes me.
