Good news so far!

So quick back story.

At 5 and 6 weeks I bled. I had a scan at 7 weeks and they discovered I had a blood clot but heart rate was nice and strong at 156! My sickness hit at 6 weeks and it was awful, ended up in the ER for an IV and it was difficult keeping anything down, even with meds.

A week ago (10 weeks) my sickness and nausea just vanished, it freaked me out because I was sick my whole pregnancy with my first! I just stopped feeling pregnant and it scared me.

Today, I had another scan at 11 weeks and all looks great so far! Baby was wiggling around and the heart rate was 169. Could see its little nose and fingers! And thankfully there’s no sign of the blood clot, which it great news, I admit, I cried seeing the little bean.

I’m at high risk for a preemie so I’m being monitored a bit closer than my first pregnancy. Check up in 4 weeks! I can’t wait to find out if we’re having a boy or a girl. We already have a boy whose nearly 2 so it would be nice to have a girl but would be totally happy with a boy! Just a healthy, full term baby would be a blessing!
