Baby clothing sizes??

Are 0-3 months and 3 months the same size ??? I’m getting my daughters clothes ready and can’t figure it out lol

I was going through my babies clothes and saw “3-9” months and “6-12” months ahaha wtf!? 
But honestly I think there is a slight difference wit 0-3 and 3 because my little guy is in 3 but the 0-3 are a little too snug

See if the brand has weight recommendations that go with the size. For example, Carter’s 9 months is for 17 to 21 pounds, or so I was told at their store the other day.

Where I'm from 0-3 months is the size they wear up until 3 months of age. Size 3 months is basically for 3-6 months because it is the size they wear from 3 months old until 6 months. And then 6 months is meant for 6-9 months etc...
Either way my LO has never followed the sizes to match his month. He just turned a year and is already in 24months/2T. So honestly just pick the size that fits your LO lol
