Paragard?

I just got my first paragard put in today. Overall the procedure is not bad but after 20 minutes passed i started to feel sick. They told me it was normal so i went home and i’ve been throwing up since. Is vomiting normal? Also this pain is ridiculous if it’s going to last up to two weeks i might just remove it. I thought i did the right thing by going on birth control but i’ve had bad luck with other types (depo, pills) I never wanted to go on birth control in the first place but i felt overwhelmed by doctors who wouldn’t stop asking why i stopped depo
