Bedside Bassinet?

Ordered this bedside sleeper "crib" bassinet tonight. Really liked the swivel one target's had but was a bit more pricey. What are you ladies using for your LO to sleep in? Wondering if I made a good choice. Also have a pack n play as another option but will definitely have to get a different mattress for it as its cheap and hard feeling to me. 🤔

Going with the pottery barn kids bassinet. If I’m gonna pay any kind of  money for one of these, I want it to look good and last through at least 3 kids. My mom splurged on a similar bassinet that lasted through 4 kids and she is planning to use it whenever I bring my baby over.

Babies don’t need anything soft to lay on as they are babies and soft things cause them to roll easier and could suffocate. All baby beds are hard and it is okay. I want that same one I registered for one exactly like that. I think it will be the easiest. For me so I don’t have to get up out of bed and stuff.

I do not have baby sleep in my room. They are so noisy with their breathing and I am a light sleeper which means I would never sleep. Baby is in babies room and I go in their in my cozy rocking recliner to feed. To each their own. That co sleeper looks nice though.

We’re going with this one. It doubles as a sleeper and swing and holds up to 35lbs so we’ll get use out of it as a swing after he’s old enough to sleep in the crib.

I went with a bedside bassinet also, liked the idea of having my baby with me once they are born 😊 Will be easier for breast feeding at night. I went with the Halo Bassinest. I ended up finding it second hand on Varagesale
