Skinny Mirrors; how do you feel about them?

Skinny Mirrors are curved mirrors in dressing rooms to shave 10-12lbs off your image so you'll buy more clothes.

fr i look my worst in dressing room mirrors, so this definitely does not make me feel better. but wherever this is a thing, it’s shitty. nothing worse than buying clothes in the store and then never wearing them outside of the house bc you look like a clown 🤷🏻‍♀️

this was on Shark Tank. they wanted to put them in hotel rooms and dressing rooms. 
I don’t think they got a deal.

Dressing rooms are where I look the absolute worst. The harsh lighting makes my hair look a gross yellow, my skin look red, and I swear the mirrors are angled to make me look shorter and fatter.
In high school it would take literally days of shopping at different department stores to find a dress I could tolerate for dances and it took a massive toll on my mental health every time we did it. I hated everything about shopping and still do because I have so many memories of breaking down in dressing rooms.  
But when I went shopping for a dress for my first Marine Corps ball I went into an actual dress boutique and ended up buying the first dress I tried on. I loved it on the rack and on myself, and to this day I still love it and the pictures from that night - I can't say the same about any of my dresses from high school. The difference was in the lighting and the mirrors - not my body shape, hair color, skin tone, sense of style, and certainly not my self esteem. 
Department stores don't need fancy mirrors, they just need to adjust their lighting and to put their mirrors at better angles. Also to turn on the damn A/C, someone please tell me I'm not the only one who sweats like a pig in those dressing rooms.

Well, dressing room mirrors are elongated, which gives a slimmer appearance (IMO, that’s the true appearance).
