We don’t really hold hands, I death grip his hand and wrist in my hand with all the strength in my body and occasionally lift him back to his feet. He’s not really willing to participate in the activity if it’s not run at full speed forever 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I trust my LOs they do great! it's other drivers I don't trust. When I was younger someone almost back into me, my dad punched the car and they stopped as the car touched me. So I stil don't trust walking behind cars and I double check each car I walk behind.

Sometimes she does really well...others she tries to dart across the parking lot/road or whatever!!

He’s at the stage where he understands he can hold my hand and walk or I will carry him, he usually does pretty well!! But I feel like not all 2 year olds quite grasp this yet

Mine hates holding hands. He's never liked his hands restricted at all. But he always sticks right by my side and never wanders. I don't really put him down and let it happen though as I have a six month old to carry and he could get hurt way faster than I could catch him if he suddenly decided to bolt. I only let him do it inside places where there is no danger of him being hit by a car and when I can keep both eyes on him.
