Toilet paper weve all heard the debate over or under.. do you think it has to do with which hand they use to put the roll on?

I'm left handed, my MIL is left handed and we both put the toilet paper/ paper towel rolls on with the tail being under.. it's not something I do purposely and I won't change it once it's done nor will I change it if it's been put on the other way.. but I'm wondering if the way the roll is put on has to do with if the person is left or right handed, not which way is right or wrong... You're only wrong if you leave the empty roll on the holder.

No. I'm not bothered which way it goes. I'm right handed and have noticed that I've put it on both ways. Don't know why this is even a thing for people. Clean your batty and get on with your day.

My husbands left handed, I'm right handed. We both prefer tail over.... Thats if he actually puts a new roll on the holder 🙄

I never notice. The only thing I notice is the people that use the last piece and don’t replace the roll. Put it on upside down or right side up I don’t care just put it on.

I don’t think it makes a difference. I just think it’s one of those silly things that people get obsessive over because it’s something easy to control. They want it to be a certain way and they get upset when it’s not. I personally don’t give a damn which way the toilet paper roll is facing as long as it’s there. But I have other things I’m mildly obsessive over that are pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of life.

My choice (for under) depends solely on having cats and a son who would sit and unroll the whole damn thing if it was over. He’s older now and knows better but the cats would still sit and bat at it if it would unroll for them. They don’t care if it just spins.
