Have you told your older child(ren) yet?

I haven't told my kids yet about our little bean coming in November 2019. I know for sure though that my oldest daughter  (who's 10) already has speculations... she's seen notifications on my phone from the different pregnancy apps I have. She keeps making comments but I just laugh and play as if I don't know anything. Actually she had a dream about baby before I even missed my period. Honestly I'm just going to wait after my first ultrasound and results; before I announce anything to them.

I won’t tell mine till I’ve had my 12wk scan I can’t wait tho my 8yr old daughter keeps saying please have another baby mum! It’s weird tho cause she’s never said that before she’s 1 of 4 so they don’t tend to ask for another sibling!!! My 3year old said to me yesterday there’s a baby in ur tummy!! I don’t like babies🙈😂 I can’t wait to tell them!!!!

I have a 7yo daughter . Almost 5 yo son and almost a 2yo son. I’m due 11-30-19 I won’t say anything yet cuz my daughter will go and tell the world right away😳 so I’m just waiting after the 1st ultra sound on April 17 just make sure everything is okay with baby first

This is my first, but my step kids who are 13 and 10 live with us full time.  We haven’t told them yet, I think we will wait till 12 weeks if we can make it that far.  My husband made the comment that I have “a bun in the oven” the other day and the 10 year old said “why would there be a bun in the oven?  You can just buy those at the grocery store” 😂

Not yet. My daughter is 6 and has been asking for a sibling for sooooo long. I’m so excited to tell her, but I want to wait til the beginning of May when we find out the gender to tell her. I also think that if we tell her too early, it will feel like forever for her until the baby comes. I’m trying to think of a fun way to tell her. Ideas?

I told my nearly 3yr daughter nearly asap as she jumps around on me in the morning. She didn't tell anyone for weeks which shocked me as she so chatty and can't keep a secret lol! But when we told my parents at 7w she was wearing her big sister top and my mum asked her what is says "it's says I'm a big sister! There's a baby in mommy's belly! When it's big we'll go hospital and they'll can her belly and get the baby out, but not just yet as it's so small"

I finally told my daughter (7) after suggesting several times that I wanted to have a baby. This would always result in her sobbing because “babies ruin [her] life!” YIKES!!! (She has a little sister at dads house.) I reassured her that babies don’t ruin lives and that this is a great opportunity for her to be a leader and a great big sister. She’s a little happier now. ☺️

My 15 year old knows; she’s old enough to know and understand things like miscarriage risk and whatnot. My two and a half year old just doesn’t understand. I would probably keep it a secret for a while from kids who were in sort of an in between age of being old enough to understand pregnancy but too young to really understand miscarriage, like if I had kids currently in the 4-7 range.

My son's only one so we keep trying to tell him but he doesn't get the concept yet. We plan to get him a baby doll to teach him how to hold/be gentle with the new baby.

This will be our rainbow baby due nov 15 i wasn’t going to tell my kids but my 7 year old saw my first ultrasound in my backpack so i couldn’t lie i had to tell him and his 5 year old brother but i told him to keep it a secret since mommy doesn’t know if god might want to take this baby home soon like the last one.. its scary but they understand stand
