Hello! We got a chocolate lab puppy, and had him for almost a week now. Even with 2 toddlers at home, so far it’s been great! Zero accidents in the house, no jumping or biting the kids (I was able to stop a few attempts, because I watch them very closely, but he hasn’t tried to do it again so far, still watching of course). He crate trained in a day and loves going in there for his rest. He doesn’t like walking outside much, but I assume that’s because he’s only 8 weeks and would much rather play with me inside than just a boring walk haha I manage to get a few short training lessons with him a day. They are only 5 min long though, because puppy loses attention after that. I researched a lot, but I would like some advise from real people 😄 how does/did your day with a puppy look like? How much play time does he need? How much time should he spend outside? How much time should be devoted to training? How often? Can you give me an example of your daily routine with your puppy/dog?
