Yesterday, after 3 days of throwing up OVER 20 times per day, I finally went to the ER. They ran bloodwork and HCG is right on target. I was severely dehydrated (obviously) and had to get a bag of fluid plus TWO doses of IV Zofran. They diagnosed me with HG and said I need to go to OB asap (Im waiting on insurance issues to resolve from moving to a different state). Well, my boyfriend thinks I’m just being dramatic and that I need to “deal with it” and “suck it up”. His brother is a paramedic and was WAY more concerned, bc he understands the gravity of it. So basically, I’ve been feeling like death for going on 2 weeks and I’m constantly getting bitched at about the house not being immaculate, when it literally took everything I had to make my king sized bed alone. It doesn’t help that his mom (very traditional Mexican) just says that’s part of pregnancy and I have to deal with it 😑. Please help...I don’t know what to do to make him understand it’s not just normal morning sickness!
