When do you plan to announce your pregnancy (outside of your parents)

I’m debating when to tell my parents. I don’t plan to tell anyone else , or make it public/ facebook until 12-13 weeks after I’m released from my RE. But I just am
Not sure if I should wait even longer.

I told everyone I care about pretty much the second I found out! I have a long list of risk factors and a history of miscarriages. I knew I would need and want support throughout this pregnancy no matter the outcome, so I wanted people to know. I appreciate their prayers for the baby, and their understanding when I am a little more tired than usual or a bit nauseous. It is also good to know we have a support group prepared if something should go wrong. I know that traditional wisdom says you shouldn't tell anyone until after the first trimester, but keeping something this big a secret just doesn't fit my personality.

Im 6 weeks 2 days and told my mum today and in the next week or so she will be telling my close family (I work away and could only visit home for one day, today so haven't had time to see everyone) once she lets me know that my close family all know I'll be announcing it on Facebook pretty much straight away (so like 7-8 weeks)
I don't really see the point in waiting till past 12. We waited in my last pregnancy then my son ended up being stillborn😔 I feel like if anything goes wrong with this jellybean atleast people will know so I'll have support because losing my rainbow would be horrible

I will be 12 weeks on Mother’s Day. As long as everything is ok our plan is to tell then. I figure that will be the best gift I could give my mom and my mother in law!  😀

Im waiting til my first ob appt and ill be 11weeks. I havent told my mom yet either.

I told a couple of close friends before anyone. I just told my mom the other day (I’m 6+6 right now). I wasn’t planning on telling family or social media until 12 ish weeks. But my mom guessed it so now she knows lol
