so this is oddly specific but i wanna see if i’m being unreasonable. my mans hangs out with his friend maddie sometimes who he almost dated and like i trust him of course but i h8 when they hang out. like that just makes me uncomfy. maddie’s boyfriend and i are friends and maddie will not let him hang out with me so like why is it okay for her to hang out with my boyfriend? like idek me and maddie are lowkey friends but like i’m just irritated now. my man was gonna hang out with her and i was like umm no and he was annoyed and was like why don’t you trust me we are just friends and i was like it’s just weird cuz you guys pretty much dated? like i don’t know i understand where he’s coming from on why he’s annoyed but also like what i don’t know i need some outsider opinions haha

Yeah no. She can hang out with her boyfriend and he can hang out with you. I don’t trust other women around my man and he finds it disrespectful (to me) and wouldn’t like it if the tables were turned. That’s my relationship though. Maybe you need to find somebody with a similar mindset

I would be very suspicious about why hes so motivated to hang out with her. Depending on the age/maturity level of the relationship of course... but it's usually not a good sign. My ex (i was 19 he was 21) used to find excuses to go see one of my friends... who he fucked once before we started dating. Anytime I questioned why he was going out of his way to visit her he would get super defensive. In hindsight, he was obviously just upset cuz he would prefer me to just let him go and not question him. Years after we broke up, that same friend told me they ended up hooking up 🤷‍♀️

You are being very unreasonable. You cannot tell your partner who they can and cannot hang out with. Your boyfriend is his own person and can hang out with her if he chooses. Many people are friends with people they used to have crushes on. It was in the past. It seems like you have trust issues that you might want to consider looking into. 
I can see how he is annoyed by you. By telling him to not hang out with her because he used to have a crush on her in the past is controlling. That’s not healthy in a relationship. 
It wouldn’t bother me at all if my partner wanted to be friends and hang out with someone he used to like. The past is the past.
