Is there anyone here who’s had a similar experience? Our beautiful baby boy, our first child, Wade, was born on February 6th. He was born with the cord around his neck so had to spend some time in the NICU. He was making a great recovery and we were getting ready to take him home when his heart stopped. He was five days old. We were at one of the best hospitals in the world in Boston. We are so heartbroken and trying to come to grips with a future that looks very different than we envisioned. I know we are technically a mom and Dad but I don’t feel like a parent. I can’t participate or relate to any of the regular Mom talk. Feeling like we’re between two worlds and want our baby back so desperately.
