Anyone else work 12 hour shifts? I work at the hospital 3 days a week & they’re 12 hour shifts. With my job, I don’t get to sit down and I’m hurting so bad most of the day. It even causes cramping. My feet have been swelling & I just need to know how to cope with it? I already wear compression socks and I only drink water.

I work 3 12 also, but i have been sick for the past 2 weeks due to severe morning sickness. I’m going back to work this weekend and it’s making me scared of how i can handle this.Im 8 weeks 2 days, this morning sickness is just awful.

I work 11hr shifts 5 days a week . I’m on my feet for most of the day . Sometimes I be so tired I sneak to the office and close my eyes for 10-15mins . Being pregnant and also having a 1yr old definitely keeps me on my toes . Once I’m home , my back and feet are screaaaaaming !!! I plan to shorten my work shifts very soon . Until then , I ordered a foot massager on amazon and I already have a back massager . Between those two and my heating pad , they are my best friends lol .

I work in the ER. My first three kids I worked full time but after the birth of my last baby (a year ago) I went PRN. 
Honestly. Try to rest when you can. I know, it’s kind of impossible but do the best you can. Try pregnancy spanks and compression stockings. Basically entire lower body compression. Also the pregnancy spanks help support your belly once you get farther along. 
Make sure you have VERY good shoes. I used to wear danskos but quickly learned ASICS worked better for my pregnancy body. 
And... Tylenol. Only thing that go me through those shifts. Miserable! Oh and warm baths 😂
