If you shave your arm hair dose it grow back thicker?

I’ve had my family tell me this but it doesn’t make much sense to me. Like, why/how would that happen.

Nope it’s just a myth , everyone would tell me this too but I’ve been shaving since I was 13 and it didn’t grow back thicker

No it will not. It doesnt mess with the root when you shave and plucking or waxing makes it come back thinner after time or not grow at all.

I used to shave my arms. It didn’t grow back thicker. But now that I don’t shave them. I can see the hair is noticeably longer and doesn’t sit flat on my arm like it did before I shaved them. It kinda pokes up and all over the place. 🤷🏻‍♀️
