My husband is a very smart, capable, practical man but sometimes I think he does a rubbish job on purpose so he doesn’t have to do it again!

Last night we took the dog out and he got really muddy. I usually wash the dog as my husband hates it but due to my pregnant belly, I asked him to wash the dog as I can’t bend over for too long to wash him properly (we have a small spaniel and wash him in the shower)

My husband didn’t use doggy shampoo, he didn’t wash his feet properly and didn’t shut the bathroom door, so the dog got out, put muddy paws prints all over the bathroom floor and bedroom carpet and then shook himself so muddy water went all up the walls!

I said why didn’t you shut the bathroom door to stop him escaping and my husband just shrugged. I mean, really? You had one job, ONE JOB! Use your common sense man! 🤦‍♀️

Afterwards he was like, maybe you should just wash the dog in future, I didn’t do a very good job!

A lot of the time he will use stuff but leave it out for days on end knowing I will cave in and put it away.

Does anyone else’s SO do this sort of thing?
