Period came on time!

So - for the 3 years I’ve been TTC my period was basically clockwork. I always knew when it was coming and it always hurts like hell.

Around the 2 year mark we did two rounds of Clomid then doctor switched us to Letrozole. We tried that for 3 months and it failed as well. No one really told me what to expect going off those medicines but let me tell you - they screwed with me. Weight gain & irregular cycles for MONTHS. I haven’t taken anything since September and it’s now March and this is the first time my period came on time. 30 days. Not 45 like last month or 43 the month before.

When I would call my doctor the previous months to explain how late I was she would say “with your history of irregular cycles...” ummmm I was never irregular until you gave me clomid then Letrozole. I don’t have a history of irregular cycles 🙄

So happy this month is normal and next week I go to the specialist to discuss IVF. Ready for the new phase of this journey and pray we finally get pregnant ❤️
