Anyone had this problem ?

Has anyone ever had a negative blood test and urine missed a period with no spotting had all the symptoms and didn’t find out till they were farther along or got an ultrasound that they were pregnant. Doctors trying to say it’s my prolactin because it’s elevated but everything else is fine. Your prolactin is suppose to be high  if your pregnant. I’ve never missed a period.

I got 2 positive urine tests, then a negative blood test, then another few positive urine tests. Nurse told me the blood test is way more accurate and that I wasn’t pregnant. Another week went by no period and another positive urine test. I was pregnant

I’m confused. A late or missing period is totally normal and doesn’t require medical attention. There are lots of reasons why you might have a late or missing period regardless of how regular you usually are. You only need a doctor if its happening regularly or you haven’t had one for 3 months in a row. Why is your doctor doing tests and not just explaining that it’s normal... seems odd. Don’t worry about it :) x
