HSG - just had it 5 minutes ago!

Good morning all!

I have never actually posted but felt that I had to share my HSG experience with everyone. I spent the last two weeks terrified to have it done after reading all of the horror stories on message boards, so I prepared for the worst. I took 800 mg ibuprofen and a small dose of Xanax, ready to ensure the pain everyone mentioned.

I am happy to report that I experienced zero pain! I wouldn’t even say that it was uncomfortable. Perhaps my medication preparation helped me or perhaps I had a particularly skilled doctor, but it was completely pain free!

I hope this helps to ease the nerves of ladies ready to do the HSG!
