Do your SO and your mother get along?

My mom and SO hate each other, and they're mostly civil, but it's so frustrating and sad for me. They just don't understand each other like I do, and they're both in the wrong sometimes, but who wants to pick sides between their mom and their SO, right? 😂

My boyfriend has a shitty family and hes not close with them at all, so he finds it hard to handle how close I am with my family. Its weird to gimme, bur he and my mom get along just fine. Just a little weird on his part because hes not used to being close with a family.

Not exactly. Lol. They are both very opinionated and have sort of black and white thinking, not much gray, and a lot of their views clash. They don't fight and things like that, but they don't typically see things the same way.

No not really. But my mother and I don't really get along either she's not a very pleasant person and in the past didn't treat me well at all and my SO knows that and doesn't like her because of it. So I can't blame him. Me and his mom don't get along either, she's also a raging cunt tart. But me and his step mom get along swimmingly! She's the sweetest lady, definitely closest thing to a real mom we both have.

My mom is a very jealous lady and hates that my hubby stands up for me and spoils me. He is an only child with an awesome mom so he doesn’t understand why mine treats me like crap. After she talked shit on us last year we quit talking to her. If she hates us that much why keep trying! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well my mom is dead but he gets along with my dad and brother... His family is a different story lol. They like me but his older brother used to not like me I think, made remarks like I was using his brother. I think he's mad that none of his relationships worked out and he doesnt get to drink non stop with his drinking buddy anymore. To motha fuckin bad! Haha
