Recurring yeast infections??

hi all!
I’ve gotten a yeast infection in February and again in March and now I feel another one coming on...
I was treated with Diflucan pills and they cleared up.
I had an awful continuous bout of BV around this time last year. it was after my fiancé and I first got together and I also hadn’t had sex in a while so I blamed it on pH imbalance. was also checked for STDs infections etc and all clear. turns out the birth control pill I had just started was causing the infections cos they didn’t stop until I switched the pill! since then I’ve been SO cautious, unscented body wash, laundry detergent, cotton breathable undies, you name it. 
any tips for tackling this? drs visits, cultures being sent to the lab and meds add up and I feel gross when I’m not. 
also my fiancé and I do not use protection since I’m on BC. could I have a reaction to his semen? UGH. thanks ladies!!! any tips would be great!!

Maybe he should be checked for one. He could be passing it back to you after you clear up. So it could be a continuous cycle.

My midwife told me to use vinegar, you can sit Indian style in a bath. Put warm water up to your hips and pour some vinegar in between your legs and just sit. She said it will kill the yeast and regulate your pH balance. Plus semen has a balance of 7 and she said the vagina should be around 5-51/2 (if I remember right) so if you don’t wash up, it’ll cause an infection.

There’s a special diet that helps With yeast infections called the candida diet; look it up and see if it’s something you’re willing to try!!!

Recurring vaginal infections could be a sign of diabetes. Ask for a glucose test. My doctor did one on me because diabetes runs in my family. I didn't have it but for about a year, I had recurrent yeast and bv. I cut out anything scented and ate a ton of yogurt and I only wear cloth panties, nothing tight and no thongs. Warm soaks in the tub really help with them. Not sure what my problem was, but I haven't had one in 2 years. My first one was soooo bad and I didn't know what was going on. Thought my vagina was dying or something. So uncomfortable. I know what you're going through. I was also tested along with my bf for STDs and neither of us had one.

It definitely could be a reaction to his semen. I’m allergic to my boyfriend and it fucks up my ph balance and would often give me yeast infections

The semen can definitely throw your pH balance off. Birth control pills caused me to get them or bv every month as well. But after I came off the pill it stopped eventually. Probiotics in yogurt help me as well or get a probiotic gummy to take each day. I only wash with hot water down there as my doctor recommended. And stay away from taking hot baths.
