Fort Drum, NY—give me the good, the bad, and the ugly!
It’s the closest base to our family in NH but we’ve heard it’s in the middle of nowhere and the winters are terrible. We’re from New England so tough winters aren’t a deal breaker for us. But we may get to choose our next duty station and this could be an option. A 6 hour drive home sounds nice compared to 31 now!! Thanks in advance!
